Toya Manseikaku Hotel Lakeside Terrace

At "Tsuki-no-yu" on the first basement floor, you can enjoy an open-air garden bath that evokes the changing seasons, as well as a large sauna fragrant with Japanese cypress. In 2020, "Chamasu-yu," a footbath terrace with free-flowing hot spring water, was also newly installed. This is open all year round and free to use.

Zekkei no Yuyado Kohantei

As its name "Zekkei" (superb view) suggests, this hotel offers spectacular views of Lake Toya from various places within the building, including the lobby, restaurant, and large public baths. The "Aerial Grand Bath" is located on the 9th floor, the top floor, and is an indoor bath with large windows that offer a close-up view of Lake Toya. In the "Aerial Open-air Bath," you can overlook Lake Toya from 32 meters above the lake.

The time spent gazing at Lake Toya from the open-air pot bath, without any obstructions, is truly a "superb view onsen inn" experience!

Toya Kanko Hotel

Both the male and female communal baths on the first basement floor and first floor offer views of Lake Toya from large windows. There are also a garden open-air bath and an observatory open-air bath, allowing you to enjoy bathing while gazing at the panoramic view of the lake.

This hotel's recommendation is the "Cave Bath," which has a secret hot spring atmosphere. It is built like a real cave, and the slightly dim lighting adds to the perfect ambiance.

Lakeside Inn Hotel Grand Toya

The male and female communal baths with free-flowing hot spring water feature an open-air bath made entirely of granite, as well as a sauna and a bubble bath. The indoor bath also has a nostalgic stone construction. This hotel has a warm atmosphere, allowing you to relax and soothe your fatigue amidst the abundant nature of Lake Toya.

Toya Ikoinoyu

This day-trip hot spring facility is located on the north shore of the lake, across from the Lake Toya hot spring town. It's an old-fashioned hot spring facility beloved by locals and campers alike, with a simple structure consisting only of a bath and a rest area, but it's cherished as a place of "relaxation" in the true sense of the word.

There is no open-air bath, but since it's located on a hill, the view of Lake Toya from the bath and rest area is spectacular. The bath has large windows and a spacious tub, making for a comfortable bathing experience.

Yutorelo Toyako

This hot spring inn offers a luxurious flow of natural hot spring water. The pH level of the hot spring water is similar to that of a toner, making it a "beauty skin hot spring" that is gentle on the skin. The large public bath here also has a system where the water is completely replaced approximately every two hours, which is another appealing feature for enjoying fresh hot spring water. Hot springs are sometimes called "living things." After gushing from the source, the components oxidize and the hot spring "ages" as it is exposed to the air over time. Therefore, enjoying "new" hot water is a valuable experience!

There are two large public baths here: "Toshin-no-Yu" and "Shimizu-no-Yu." Of course, there are also open-air baths.

Toya Onsen Hokkai Hotel

This inn features free-flowing hot spring water at approximately 41°C. In addition to the large public bath and observatory open-air bath, there is also a sauna. While the bathing facilities are simple, it is highly regarded for its abundant, high-quality hot spring water.

Beyond the benefits of the hot spring itself, immersing oneself in warm water increases body temperature, and the effects of water pressure and buoyancy lead to increased pulse and respiration rates, promoting metabolism.

Toya Onsen Hotel Hanabi

The main bath here is a two-story structure. From the upper bath, you can enjoy a view of Lake Toya. There is also an open-air bath with a pleasant scent of wood (with windows that can be opened and closed), allowing you to enjoy 100% natural hot spring water in both the indoor and open-air baths.

Footbath Pocket Park "Yakushi no Yu"

This is a town-operated footbath spot located one street away from the hot spring town, on the lake side. It's very close to the dining area, so after enjoying a meal, it's recommended to enjoy a footbath here before departing.

The feet are sometimes called the "second heart." By warming the feet, which are the extremities of the body, warm blood is returned to the heart, efficiently warming the entire body.

Chouju to Shiawase no Teyu (Hand Bath of Longevity and Happiness)

This hand bath is located in front of the entrance of Toya Kanko Hotel. Warming your hands, just like a foot bath, has the effect of warming your entire body from the extremities. It is especially recommended for those who suffer from cold sensitivity!

Since this hand bath is directly supplied from the main hot spring pipe that runs just beneath the sidewalk, you can enjoy the hot spring water straight from the source, which is also an attractive feature.

Ashiyu Toryu no Yu (Foot Bath)

This is also a facility of Toya Kanko Hotel. While the hand bath is in front of the entrance, this one is closer to the lake shore than the hotel.

"Toryu" is a dragon god mascot character said to be the guardian deity of Lake Toya. This is a healing spot where you can enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Toya while soaking your feet in the hot water gushing from the feet of Toryu-kun.
