1. Tough design capable of continuous two-hour shooting at a depth of 20 m
It features a highly airtight body structure, achieving high waterproof performance (JIS Class 8, IPX8 equivalent) that can withstand continuous two-hour use in water at a depth of 20 m, the highest in our WG series. This tough model is also equipped with drop impact resistance from 2.1 m*1 to withstand serious use in harsh outdoor environments, dustproof performance (JIS Class 6, IP6X compliant), cold-resistant construction that allows operation at temperatures as low as -10°C, and load-resistant construction*2 that can withstand weights of up to 100 kgf (kilogram-force).
*1: Cleared our own proprietary drop test (power on, height: 2.1 m, dropping surface: 5 cm thick plywood) in accordance with the MIL-Standard 810F Method 516.5-Shock measurement method.
