To withstand fierce runs, each drag component now employs Stella SW-exclusive carbon washers that are metal and highly resistant to wear. By evolving the spool structure, we have enabled the inclusion of larger washers, in addition to the traditional drag washers located at the bottom.
This evolution improves the durability of the drag.
The synergy between this evolved drag structure and the equipped Heat Sink Drag has successfully reduced the drop in drag force due to heat by approximately 30% compared to previous models.
INFINITYLOOP
Technology that improves casting distance, cast feel, and drag smoothness by winding the line in an orderly and dense manner. There are three notable focal points. The first is the optimal line winding pitch for SW models. This model utilizes "dense winding," with the pitch narrowed to about half that of previous models. This provides a clean casting feel while thoroughly suppressing line trouble. Furthermore, the dense winding keeps the line's upward and downward movement minimal when the drag is engaged, enabling smooth line release.
The second is the improvement of the line winding shape on the spool. By reviewing the turn angle of the worm shaft, we have created a flatter winding shape that eliminates the bulging often seen at both the top and bottom of the spool, reducing resistance during drag and line release while also decreasing trouble.
The third is the 2-speed oscillation system, which changes the winding pitch as the spool reciprocates. In the direction where the line is released from the spool ring side to the skirt side (downward), the finely wound line reduces release resistance and increases casting distance; in the opposite direction, the coarser winding prevents the line from biting into itself under high drag. This mechanism, thought out specifically for SW models, brings even greater line release performance and trouble-free operation.

Infinity Cross expands the contact area where the drive gear and pinion gear mesh through advancements in gear tooth design and manufacturing technology. By dispersing the load applied to the gear tooth surfaces, it prevents damage caused by concentrated stress, thereby improving durability. The 25 Stella SW has increased this tooth width by approximately 1.3 times compared to previous models. This makes it possible to maintain a smooth gear feel even during high-load retrieval.
ANTI-TWIST FIN
Suppressing unpleasant line trouble.
By placing fins close to the line roller section to suppress line slack, we have reduced line drop into the spool skirt. By using an elastic material for the fins, damage when winding in knots is also prevented.
Fin B, which creates a gap as in previous models, is also included.
AR-C Spool
The AR-C Spool contributes to suppressing line trouble and improving long-distance casting performance by giving the spool ring a special shape that creates a rectifying effect for the line. The 25 Stella SW is equipped with a new AR-C shape that improves the spool ring color to a design that makes it difficult for the line to climb, reducing line crossing on the spool, which is a cause of line trouble.
Furthermore, in SW games, the spool ring is subjected to unexpected loads under harsh conditions. A powerful wear-resistant barrier coat has been applied to the spool ring surface, further improving durability. It reduces damage to the line and keeps the surface smooth and resistant to scratches for a longer period.

A major threat in SW games is the intrusion of seawater. Seawater that enters the reel corrodes metal parts and significantly degrades initial performance.
The Stella SW blocks water entry paths by applying seals in various places, including the body, drag knob, and line roller. In particular, the body and stopper sections have achieved the IPX8 standard for waterproof performance. This brings high reliability and durability in the harsh conditions of SW games.
Additionally, by reviewing the waterproof structure, we have realized even lighter rotational performance while maintaining high waterproof integrity. It achieves the conflicting elements of high water resistance and a silky-smooth rotation.

High-Rigidity Arm Cam
