Drag durability evolves further.

Each drag component, which withstands intense runs, uses strong Stella SW exclusive carbon washers that are resistant to metal and wear. In addition to the conventional drag washer placed at the bottom, the spool structure has been evolved to allow a larger washer to be mounted at the top.

This evolution improves drag durability.

The synergistic effect of the evolving drag structure and the equipped heat sink drag has also succeeded in reducing the decrease in drag force due to heat by approximately 30% compared to conventional models.

INFINITYLOOP - Infinity Loop -

A technology that improves casting distance, casting feel, and drag smoothness by meticulously and precisely winding the line. There are three notable focus points. The first is the setting of the optimal line winding pitch for SW models. This model features a tighter winding with the pitch reduced to about half of conventional models. This provides a smooth casting feel and thoroughly suppresses line trouble. In addition, during drag operation, the tighter winding reduces the number of times the line moves up and down, enabling smooth line payout.

The second is the improvement of the line winding shape on the spool. By reviewing the turn angle of the worm shaft, the swelling that tends to occur at both ends of the spool is made into a flatter line winding shape, which reduces drag and resistance during line release, and also reduces trouble.

And the third is the 2-speed oscillation system, where the line winding pitch changes as the spool reciprocates. When the line is released from the spool ring side to the skirt side (downwards), the tightly wound line reduces release resistance and increases casting distance, while in the opposite direction, the coarsely wound line prevents line digging in during high drag. The well-thought-out mechanism for SW models brings further improvements in line release performance and trouble-free operation.

INFINITYXROSS - Infinity Cross -

The heart of SW, gear strength and durability are improved.

Infinity Cross expands the meshing contact area between the drive gear and pinion gear, thanks to advances in gear tooth surface design and manufacturing technology. By dispersing the load on the gear tooth surface, it prevents damage caused by concentrated stress and improves durability. The 25 Stella SW has increased this tooth width by approximately 1.3 times compared to conventional models. This allows for smooth gear feeling to be maintained even under higher load winding.

ANTI-TWIST FIN - Anti-Twist Fin -

Suppresses unpleasant line troubles.

By installing a fin close to the line roller to suppress line slack, it reduces line fall onto the spool skirt. The use of elastic material for the fin also prevents damage when winding in knots.

Fin B, which creates a gap as before, is also included.

AR-C Spool

The AR-C spool creates a line straightening effect by giving the spool ring a special shape, contributing to the suppression of line trouble and improved long-casting performance. The 25 Stella SW is equipped with a new AR-C spool with an improved spool ring shape that makes it harder for the line to get caught, reducing line crossover on the spool, which is a cause of line trouble.

In SW games, the spool ring is subjected to unexpected loads under harsh conditions. The spool ring surface is treated with a strong wear-resistant barrier coating, further improving durability. It also reduces damage to the line and maintains a smooth surface for a longer period of time.

X PROTECT & X SHIELD

Impenetrable waterproof structure.

The infiltration of seawater is a threat in SW games. Seawater that enters the inside of the reel corrodes metal parts and significantly reduces initial performance.

The Stella SW has seals at various points, including the body, drag knob, and line roller, to block water intrusion paths. In particular, the body and stopper section achieve IPX8 in terms of waterproof performance. This provides high reliability and durability in SW games played under harsh conditions.

In addition, by re-evaluating the waterproof structure, lighter rotation performance has been achieved while maintaining waterproof performance. This realizes contradictory elements of high waterproof performance and silky rotation.

X-Rigid Rotor

By using aluminum alloy and repeatedly analyzing the thickness distribution in detail through 3D analysis, we have achieved even greater rigidity, durability, and excellent rotational balance. This high rigidity also contributes to the improvement of the drag and other components.

High-Rigidity Arm Cam

To enhance rigidity, a metal arm cam, similar to the rotor, is installed. It transmits the Stella SW's power without distortion even during high-load line retrieve or drag operation. The metal plating treatment maintains a smooth surface for a long period, reducing damage to the line.

Stella SW Exclusive Line Roller

The surface is DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) treated to reduce friction and prevent line wear. In addition, a contact waterproof seal is installed to block seawater intrusion into the line roller. It protects the internal bearings from harsh environments, improving durability by more than 10 times compared to models without it.
