By evolving the spool structure to include a washer in the upper section in addition to the traditional lower section, we have enabled the installation of large washers with approximately 4 times the area compared to the previous model.

Thanks to the synergistic effect of the evolved drag structure and the equipped Heat Sink Drag, we have also succeeded in reducing the drop in drag force due to heat by approximately 30% compared to the previous model.

The Infinity Loop improves casting distance, cast feel, and drag smoothness by winding the line neatly and precisely. Thought-out mechanisms—such as optimal line winding pitch settings for SW models, improvements to the line-winding shape as the line is wound onto the spool, and a 2-speed oscillation system that changes the pitch during spool reciprocation—have brought about further improvements in line release performance and trouble-free performance. These benefits not only lead to a steady casting feel and increased distance, but also directly translate to smooth line release in vertical jigging. Even under high-load conditions such as complex currents or heavy-weight jigs, it suppresses line biting and snagging, sending the metal jig quickly to the target depth. Furthermore, after a hit, it maintains stable drag force with little fluctuation in line tension, suppressing the powerful pull of a monster.

AR-C Spool

The AR-C Spool creates a line rectification effect by giving the spool ring a special shape, contributing to the suppression of line trouble and improved long-casting performance. The 25 Stella SW is equipped with a new AR-C shape with an improved spool ring color shape that prevents the line from riding on it, reducing the line straddling the spool that causes line trouble.

In addition, in SW games, the spool ring is subjected to more load than imagined under harsh conditions. The spool ring surface is treated with a powerful wear-resistant barrier coat, further improving durability. It also reduces damage to the line, allowing you to maintain a scratch-resistant and smooth surface state for longer.

Further improved operability with a newly designed drag knob

The Stella SW, which has refined the details of each part, has increased the diameter of the drag knob by approximately 25% to further enhance operability (*). Not only does it make the knob easier to grip during instantaneous operation, but it also makes it easier to handle fine adjustments. It provides an advantage in the action of tightening or loosening the drag instantly when a big fish is hooked.

A threat in SW games is the intrusion of seawater. Seawater that enters the reel corrodes metal parts, significantly degrading initial performance.

The Stella SW blocks water intrusion paths by applying sealing to various places, including the body, drag knob, and line roller. In particular, the body and stopper parts achieve IPX8 in the standard for evaluating waterproof performance. It brings high reliability and durability in SW games played under harsh conditions.

Also, by reviewing the waterproof structure, we have realized even lighter rotation performance while maintaining waterproof performance. It realizes the contradictory elements of high waterproof performance and silky rotation.
