【HOSHINOYA Tokyo】A city ryokan with all tatami flooring where you can relax barefoot

The entrance features a wall of shoe lockers made from bamboo and chestnut wood. The entire building is tatami-matted, and guests remove their shoes here.

On the top floor, the 17th floor, there is a natural hot spring with its own source welling up from 1,500m underground. Named "Otemachi Onsen," this hot spring contains abundant minerals from seawater and seaweed trapped deep underground, making it a chloride spring that feels moist on the skin. The high-ceilinged bath area is filled with a sense of openness, and as you sink into the warm water, the fatigue of mind and body seems to melt away.

The special "Kiku" room, one per floor. The Edokomon pattern of "asanoha kuzushi" that covers the entire building creates silhouettes on the windows.

There are only six guest rooms per floor. All are tatami-matted, with calm Japanese spaces featuring wood and washi paper.
